Advancing Boards - Global Board Survey 2017 results: How Boards advance – and companies with them

InterSearch – Worldwide Organization of Executive Search Firms and Board Network – The Danish Professional Directors Association have together performed this Global Board Survey 2017 in January and February 2017 among 1.017 corporate chairmen/women and board members from 52 countries on all populated continents. Respondents represent every imaginable industry, all sizes of companies up to turnovers of more than USD 20 Billion per year, and all kinds of ownership structures.

InterSearch Australia launch

20 October marked the official launch of the revitalised InterSearch Australia, the exclusive local member of InterSearch Worldwide, a leading global executive search organization operating in more than 50 countries.

2016 has seen InterSearch Worldwide Global Chairman and Australian partner Peter Waite joined in partnership by seasoned executive search consultants Alan Wilson, Rob Pocknee together with Richard Burrows who is heading the firms' research and operations.

The InterSearch Global Board together with the Standards & Quality Chairman, Clients, friends of the firm and members of the InterSearch Australia Advisory Board including Sarah Hunter and Dr. Noel Waite AO, gathered on the Terrace Bar of Melbourne's Sheraton Hotel for a cocktail reception to celebrate the launch.

Guests were treated to a brief presentation from Frank Schelstraete of InterSearch Belgium, who discussed the ramifications of the 2016 'Brexit' from the perspective of a European headhunter. Amidst the disruption, Mr. Schelstraete anticipates significant movement amongst the ranks of senior executives and therefore numerous opportunities for quality executives to assist in reshaping the post-Brexit executive landscape.
